With it’s clean branding and trendy interior, it’s easy to see why this vegan spot attracts passers by, but its their menu that converts passers by into die hard fans.

Located in Covent Garden, Oxford Circus, Tower Bridge and the o2, By Chloe serve up creative, flavour packed vegan dishes that can satisfy the palette of a carnivore.

You’ll find classics like Nachos, Fish and Chips and Mac and Cheese on the menu, but obviously in plant-based version. That isn’t to say that the taste is compromised, as a matter of fact, the Pesto Meatball Sub is flavourful and would hold it’s own against a meatball sub. The meatballs are portobello and veggie and topped with marinara, sweet peppers, basil pesto cashew mozz, almond parm and potato sub roll.

The Mac and Cheese is off the chain. It’s creamy, it’s more-ish and when they ask you if you would like extra shitake – just say yes. This pot of comfort is made with sweet potato-cashew cheese sauce, shiitake bacon and almond parm.

This kinda goes without saying but if you have a nut allergy, By Chloe won’t be as enjoyable for you as quite a few dishes incorporate different nuts. It’s not to say that they can’t accommodate, but that will depend on the severity of your allergy.

The only other thing to flag is that By Chloe is not cheap, and you understand why once you tuck into your meal.

If you have room, you can polish off your meal with one of their sweet treats such as a Matcha Blueberry Muffin or a Raspberry Tiramisu.

Early birds will also find options like oats, pancakes, scrambled tofu or quinoa hashbrowns.
